Summer Celebrations
Summer 2002 saw both the Queen's Golden Jubilee and the football world cup. The celebrations for both caused record turn-outs to events such as the classical concert for the Queen's Jubilee, whilst pubs up and down the country targeted football fans for early morning viewings.
